Today marks a major milestone in the continued growth of Gradient Cyber! Today we start updating our branding to boldly show and tell Gradient Cyber’s story with new visuals and content.
When I joined Gradient Cyber several months ago, it was evident the company invested heavily in both its cybersecurity technology and cybersecurity expertise. This stood out clearly in the customer meetings I listened in on. In fact, it’s this leading combination of technology innovations and hands-on expertise that accounts for Gradient Cyber’s 85% year-over-year revenue growth since its first year, the high praise we get from our customers, and our 96% retention rate! Great tech plus great service equals happy customers.
Now marketing is playing catch-up to the technical side of Gradient Cyber and our goal is to highlight the fantastic work being done by our development and security teams. Today I’d like to tell you about:

Our Corporate Mission
Let me start with a bit of history. Gradient Cyber was co-founded in 2017 by a highly experienced group of development and cyber professionals. The initial team consisted of former career military and IBM leaders who worked supporting U.S. Department of Defense (DOD), intelligence agencies, Army, and Marine Corps big data and cybersecurity projects.
Their premise in starting the company was to bring an affordable cloud-based cybersecurity platform and services together for ‘Main Street USA’ – meaning we are laser focused on serving small businesses and mid-market enterprises. The initial goal was to help these companies address the challenge of having too much cybersecurity and log data for IT personnel to keep up with – to eliminate the noise and provide cybersecurity clarity. That goal continues today.

Our new company logo is designed to illustrate our company name – a superimposed G and C. The teal blue color gives a sense of ‘trust’ and ‘security’. And the green upward arrow symbolizes the growth and success that a strong security foundation can unleash in small and midsize organizations.

I mentioned at the beginning of this blog, it was evident the company invested heavily in both its cybersecurity technology and cybersecurity expertise and that these capabilities clearly stood out in customer meetings. Thus, these two elements are central to our brand messaging.
Our Quorum SecOps Delivery Platform
Our Quorum SecOps Delivery Platform is our proprietary, Extended Detection and Response (XDR) platform that enables 24/7 threat detection and response across the entire IT infrastructure of our customers. It collects, enriches with customized threat intelligence, and analyzes ‒ internet, network, endpoint, user, cloud, and SaaS application telemetry. And it delivers detailed scoring of customers’ IT risk profile in a Cybersecurity Health Scorecard tracking both maturity levels and compliance with known industry frameworks, (i.e., NIST, CMMC, CAT, IMO and others).
Our Vector Security Team
Our Vector Security Team is our highly skilled security team that works 24/7 for customers to assess IT risks, monitor for on-going threats, and provide guidance on responding to both. The team consists of cybersecurity specialists that possess an array of cybersecurity and penetration testing certifications including CompTIA Network+, Security+, PenTest+, CySA+, and CASP+ and many more. The team roles include account team leaders, cyber analysts, senior cyber analysts, and service delivery support personnel. Our Vector Security Team is on the job 24/7!
